To celebrate another portrait of a little used character from my RP. his is Rhammi, a nephilim, Metatron's son, and Northerner turned Southern.

Celebrate....

... good times! C'mon! 

To celebrating finishing this semester at Uni I decided to doodle a much neglected RP character of mine, which then of course turned into more of a painting as sketches usually do. I did this using just a pencil brush to sketch and a chalk brush to paint and I must say I'm really loving painterly texture this gives to the pic. 

Ref was used and hopefully it's somewhat clear who ;) I've always seen him as this char in my head. Cydric is mine and just for the lols here is the very first pic I ever did of him from four years ago

 This guy is hardly ever drawn but he is quite an important character. Everyone meet Jerry, Jerry meet everyone. He actually belongs to fellow artist Kovah.

Here's the finished up animatic for my final film. I'll be uploading it as a soryboard too probably sometime this weekend for those who are interested. Expect more pics of these guys over the next few months :)

Late Night Sketch

Was feeling in a vampirey mood last night so here's a vampiric shaman for you guys. I'm pretty sure if there was one type of magic vamps would be into it's blood magic so I'll leave you to guess what the paint on his face is ;)

Lil' Storyboard

Here's a very rough storyboard for my lil' Sol animation. I hope to clean it up before making an animatic of it. Thoughts are welcome, :), I am aware most of the shots are rather boring.

Boo

After spending most of the summer and this first semester drawing angels it's time to move on to my next project so to celebrate here's a concept piece for my final film. Is somewhat of a relief to work in dark colours after looking at bright purple and yellow all week ;)

This is just a test to work out character designs, lighting and colour scheme and probably won't be the exact final look of the film but it has the feel I'm looking for.

I don't think Solomon is too pleased about his new friend.

Tafti

After five weeks of work Tafti is pretty much done. I still want to change the audio track and may tweak a bit after the weekend but overall I'm pretty pleased with him :) Enjoy.

D'aww

Inspired by the meme that's been floating around for a while. Just a few of my favorite couples from the rp. Done as a wind down from spending the week inking. Felt good to mess with colour and a big, chalky brush after hours and hours having to be precise in just black and white. I've also updated Tafti's backgrounds now so they're all finished for those who are interested :)

Tafti Backgrounds

Decided to get a start on the backgrounds for my Tafti animation, yup they're very purple and very girly but also very handy to put a yellow fellow against

Rather than spam my blog I'm just going to update this post as and when they're done. I'm going to put them up in the order in which they appear in the short but I'm not necessarily going to paint them that way - so keep an eye out for updates :)
